Saturday December 9th, 7:30pm
We’ve got another one for you. Hosted by Joe Bennett and starring Lyttelton Circus Theatre Company members Pascal Ackermann and Skye Broberg. Even the multi-talented Darryl Cribb will be providing a tune or two! This is going to be a fantastic cabaret combined with a mentally stimulating quiz.
Book at table, bring your friends, it’s a social night full of fun and great to test your trivia prowess, or just have a drink with mates and support a good cause.
The proceeds of this cabaret will assist in the cost of putting on a full-scale production of Berlin Burlesque at LAF over the summer period. With a set so large, the seating becomes almost intimate!
Nov 22 – Dec 14

A Monumental Mashup of Motherhood
‘We’ve Got So Much To Talk About‘ is a contemporary theatre gig that takes an unbridled ride through the chaotic world of motherhood with rock ‘n roll songs, stories and a Vegas showgirl thrown in for good measure. Set in a dream world of backstage tour cases, tangled cables, and hanging microphones. Sally Stockwell navigates the live wire mess of parenting with mesmerising vocals, a looping pedal, and her body. This solo show touches the jagged edges of early motherhood with honesty, humour and the beating heart of love and validation.
From the 30th June to the 9th July 2023 this was one colourful festival that lit up Lyttelton. That’s ten days, over 100 artists and 14 venues!
As always the calibre of the acts was high and the workshops were very well attended. It’s great having so many creative locals in port to draw upon.

This exchange is born out of Mike Friend’s professional relationship with Adrian Rawlins, E.R.T’s Artistic Director.
From the first show”Oliver Twist” our artist exchange programme with E.R.T has produced great outcomes for performers and audiences. It saw Hester Uyllart and Annie Kirkman raise the stakes in “The Butler Dresses Again” and then brought two outstanding solo shows to LAF audiences; Evie Guttridge (SPOONFACE Steinberg) and Hester Ullyart’s (Paragon Station) in 2018.Read More
